Senior Staff Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Staff Tax Accountant to join their organization. This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities:

‍

• Independently prepare corporate and personal tax returns.
• Compilation execution and identification of issues.
• Maintain client files in a paperless methodology.
• Independently research tax issues and collaborate with the team to determine solutions, including correspondence with CRA.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and regularly monitor deadline budgets.
• Identify value-added services while working on engagements.

Qualifications:

‍

• 5 years Public Accounting Experience.
• Hand on experience with T1134, T1135, T106 and all other foreign reporting issues and filings.
• Hands on TOSI knowledge and experience.
• Experience with CaseWare, CaseView and TaxPrep
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
