Operations Manager

Our client is looking for a qualified Operations Manager to join their Organization. This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities:

‍

• Manage and direct daily operations to create team alignment.

• Drive continuous improvements and cost efficiencies/reductions.

• Take a data oriented approach to effectively and consistently report on performance to all stakeholders internally.

• Maintain effective communication channels with management, sales teams and customers.

• Technical subject matter expert on all plant equipment and participate in upgrade projects as needed.

• Maintain and improve plant safety standards.

• Understand the key factors that affect operations to allow for effective decision making.

• Equip employees with tools and processes to be effective and set clear expectations and reviews with direct reports.

Qualifications:

‍

• Previous experience in operations leadership.

• 5+ years in a fast paced operations environment.

• Manufacturing knowledge, particularly with high speed packaging.

• Education: Engineering related University Degree.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite and other Business Intelligence tools.

• Knowledge of best practices in operations management – asset effectiveness, reduction in cycle times,

flexibility of the workforce, training, and recruitment etc.
