Sales Representative
$75K to $90K/annually (based on experience), PLUS commission and more
Our client is an established and growing distributor of specialized mechanical equipment in Canada. They are seeking a Sales Representative to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role and an excellent long-term, career opportunity.
Schedule: Days, Monday to Friday
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Business development via Inside and Outside sales activities and efforts
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Establish, develop and grow both new and existing customer relationships to maximize growth
- Carry out action plans to identify and acquire new business
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry, product trends and more
- Manage customer requirements and expectations for delivery
- Prepare quotations and conduct follow-ups to customers to advance the sale forward and to close deals
- Grow your stable and long-term career
- Work closely with customers
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have previous sales experience in a technical industry
- Previous compressor sales experience is an advantage
- Previous sales experience within a rotating equipment and/or engineering, and/or technical company is a definite plus
- Ability to conduct cold calls
- Must have great listening skills
- Positive, dynamic and outgoing personality and attitude
- Proven sales skills, presentation and relationship building ability
- Team player who is able to get along very well with others
- Seeking stability; a long-term career with opportunity for growth within the company
- Very personable, flexible, and able to deal with pressure
- Solid organizational, time management
- Quick learner and intelligent with a business mindset
- Good computer skills
