Human Resources Business Partner

Our client, a successful and growing transportation company, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This is a Direct Hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, perform and oversee the various Human Resource responsibilities
• Work effectively with all levels within the organization
• Provide management with expert insight and recommendations
• Implement company culture, values and policies
• Lead negotiations
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leading HR capacity
• Must have labour relations experience within a unionized environment
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Skillful in negotiation and managing conflict
• HR designation is preferred
• Transportation experience is preferred
• Thorough understanding of provincial and Canadian labour law
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
