Health and Safety Manager

Our client is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their growing company. This is a Direct Hire position.

Compensation: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Manage Health & Safety program for all sites in Canada
• Perform reviews and inspections
• Oversight of safety policy
• Ensure compliance
• Provide leadership
• Health and safety training programs
• Reporting and records
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Health and Safety is a must
• OHS education required
• Certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) is preferred
• Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and Workers Compensation
• JHSC Certified
• First Aid Certified
• Solid communication, reasoning and organization skills
• Ability to travel across Canada
