Branch Supervisor

Our client, an established and growing electrical distributor, is seeking a Branch Supervisor to join their team. This is a Direct Hire position.

Pay: Based on exp. and qualifications

Shedule: Days, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and resolving issues at branch level
• Assist with purchasing, maintaining inventory levels, order desk and counter
• Respond to client enquiries
• Lead the inside staff by coaching and supporting
• Handle all aspects of the branch as needed
• Assist in all aspects of purchasing including transfers between branches
• All stock issues including review of count variances, review of stock for damages, defects, monitor repetitive trends, and control the Head Office defective returns
• Maintain and develop strong vendor relationships
• Ensure all credits are handled and all cash deposits are made
• Provide exceptional customer service by handling customer orders, providing prices, stock and delivery information, ensure company specials are promoted and counter displays are tidy and organized
• Assist Branch Manager with the preparation of annual planning and budgeting. Explore opportunities to increase sales

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in electrical and/or business
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the electrical distribution industry
• Electrical product knowledge/electrical industry experience
• Contractor customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Inventory knowledge
