Director of Tax and Treasury

Our client is seeking a qualified Director of Tax and Treasury to join their organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other forms of reports.
• Manage internal staff and third party tax service providers for compliance and planning opportunities across several countries.
• Manage banking and insurance relationships and assist in treasury functions across various platforms.
• Assist investment team in due diligence of investment opportunities as required.
• Assist portfolio companies as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hands on experience completing accounting and tax reporting for Canadian investment entities.
• 3+ yrs of Management experience in Tax.
• 3+ yrs experience in a Public Accounting firm.
• CPA designation.
